IN.HYPE Builder Gel - is a Sculpting Gel that has a medium thickness and can be used for sculpting the nail shape or building extensions. Suitable for infills and overlays on your nail plate to strengthen and protect your natural nail to help it grow.

Highly pigmented light beige will give you full coverage even in a thin layer.

  • Thickness: Medium (2/5), will easily self-level, but will not run into the cuticles. Has a perfect consistency to form the smile line for a French manicure, as it's easy to control. Suitable for a no-filing technique!
  • Pigmentation: Highly pigmented light beige will give you full coverage even in a thin layer. 
  • Heat production: No heat. To avoid heat spikes cure the gel for 60 seconds on slow mode. 
  • Requires a base coat. We recommend using IN.HYPE Elastic Base for the best adhesion especially if the nails are thin and problematic. 
  • Cure in hybrid UV/LED lamp at least 46 watts to get the best results.
  • This product has a sticky layer after curing. You can remove it using Rubber Alcohol 70% or a cleanser. 
  • It's a soak-off gel. But we recommend to file of the main portion of the gel to leave 1mm of height and then soaking it off with acetone.

Urethane Acrylate Oligomer, 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, Silica, Dimethyl Silylate, Hydroxycyclohexyl Phenyl Ketone, Diphenyl (2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl) Phosphine Oxide.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Prepare the Natural Nails:

  • Start by shaping the natural nails using a nail file.
  • Gently push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher.
  • Use a nail dehydrator to remove any oils or residue from the nail surface.

2. Apply a thin layer of In.Hype Elastic base coat and cure it under the lamp. This can improve adhesion.

  • Dip the UV gel brush into the builder gel and pick up a small bead of gel.
  • Apply this bead to the nail surface, starting near the cuticle area and gently brushing it toward the free edge.

  • Place the hand with the freshly applied gel into the lamp.
  • Cure the gel according to the manufacturer's instructions. Typically, this is around 2-3 minutes for UV lamps and 30-60 seconds for LED lamps.
  • Ensure that the gel is fully cured, as under-curing can lead to peeling or lifting.

"I really loved the Builder Gel in the old packaging. It had great coverage and the perfect consistency — thick enough to control, easy to work with, and it didn’t run into the sidewalls. Unfortunately, the Builder Gel in the new packaging feels completely different. It is much more runny, making it difficult to control and causing it to flood the sidewalls. The coverage has also changed — the gel is noticeably more sheer and less pigmented. The shades in the new packaging also don’t match the same shades from the old collection. They look lighter and more transparent. I really hope IN. HYPE considers bringing back the previous formula. It was much more comfortable to work with and provided beautiful, even coverage."
